Common questions

What is the psoas?

It's a deep muscle at the front of the hip that helps you lift your leg. When it's tight, the hip can feel stiff.

Why does it feel worse after sitting?

Long sitting keeps the hip bent. We'll show you stretches and exercises to ease the stiffness.

Can it cause back pain too?

It can. We assess your hip and lower back together.
